MTB RS17 Sole
Nylon sole with non-slip plastic inserts. The sole was specially developed for mountain biking and offers extremely good grip, high stability and prevents mud from sticking. The SIDI logo in the middle of the sole provides optimal traction and more safety when getting on the pedal. The RS17 combines extremely high pedalling stiffness with the necessary flexibility in running passages. With interchangeable tread insert in the toe area and additional inserts for optional cleats.
SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM 4
Anatomically shaped instep band for optimum adjustment and even pressure distribution on the foot instep. Adjustable on both sides via the TECNO-3 twist lock.
TECNO 3 PUSH SHORT
Here, the closure is located on the side of the shoe, which allows a sensitive adaptation to the foot.
MICROTECH Outer Material
A dirt-repellent and environmentally friendly outer material that impresses with its high robustness, breathability, water resistance and colour fastness.
Politex
The politex material is constructed of several overlapping layers with different physical-mechanical properties, the compacted PVC is then coupled to two fabrics (knitted fabric + felt) that is then is film dyed for long-lasting color retention. Politex offers strong resistance to ripping, laceration, stretching and fading. Politex is made in strict compliance with European regulations and is a totally green product.
RUBBER TOE
In-built, rubberized toe cap for effective protection against shocks and abrasion.
HEEL CUP
Preformed, reinforced heel cap. Reflective material in the cap and upper heel for increased visibility.

Fahre seit Jahren SIDI Eagle Modelle. Der Eagle 10 in grau/schwarz wirkt sehr dezent, fast edel. Der Tecno-Verschluss funktioniert prinzipiell sehr gut. Die Sohle ist für meine Bedürfnisse ausreichend steif. Bei normalen Schuhen brauche ich Schuhgröße 43.5, bei SIDI 44.0 (mit anderer Einlegesohle 44.5) Was mir nicht so gefällt: - Blindes Nachziehen des Verschlusses klappt fast nie. Man muss hinsehen, um den kleinen Klappgriff zu erwischen. Blöd, wenn es etwas hektischer zugeht. - Die Original-Einlegesohle taugt nichts. Ist allgemein bekannt. Verwende darum eine Body Geometry-Einlage. Die trägt etwas mehr auf, somit musste ich eine halbe Nummer größer bestellen. - Bislang hielten meine Eagle-Modelle ca. 3 Jahre. Spätestens dann fühlte sich die Sohle "weich" an, bzw. wurde mir der Schuh jeweils zu kurz (seltsam, Ursache unbekannt). Ich hoffe, mit der halben Nummer größer hält er etwas länger.
