The 3-speed derailleurs (FD-M6000) bring a drastic reduction in shift effort with efficient cable routing and enhanced stability, while also increasing tire clearance allowing for shorter chainstays. High clamp, middle clamp, low clamp, D-type and E-type mounting options are available.

Designed specifically with modern trail bikes in mind, Shimano’s DEORE Side-Swing front derailleur provides 15mm of increased tire clearance, while new cable routing dramatically reduces shifting effort. Designed for larger wheels and longer travel, FD-M6000 brings Shimano’s industry-leading front shifting to another level.

Ich habe ein Hardtail von 2015 mit kompletter XT Ausstattung. Der Umwerfer hat nach den Jahren immer mehr Probleme gemacht, bis er irgendwann von selbst gar nicht mehr auf die kleineren Kettenblätter schalten wollte. Nachdem ich ihn für ein paar Wochen wieder gangbar bekommen hatte, ging das Spiel wieder los - ein neuer musste her. Doch Pustekuchen - 3-Fach mit "Down Pull" gibts nicht mehr, als XT schon gleich garnicht. Ich war stinksauer auf Shimano und dachte schon über einen (völlig unvernünftigen) Wechsel auf 1-Fach und SRAM nach. Irgendwann hab ich dann aber doch gecheckt, dass sich die "Front-Pull" Umwerfer auch an einem alten Rahmen anbauen lassen, man muss halt einen neuen Zug verlegen, der nicht mehr schön im Rahmen verläuft. Also wurde es dieser Umwerfer. Hätte ich das gewusst, hätte ich das schon Wochen bis Monate früher gemacht! Der "nur Deore" Umwerfer schaltet gefühlt besser als es der alte XT je getan hat und das bei weniger Kraft durch den "gerade" Zug von vorn. Ich bin begeistert!
