Sustainable with a lot of comfort and gel padding: the Selle Italia MODEL X Green Superflow saddle
Selle Italia has been investing in research and development since its inception, because it believes that growth is only possible through innovation, and last summer it launched "Green-Tech": a production process that makes it possible to manufacture products with a low environmental impact, environmentally sustainable, fast and at competitive costs. It is an automated plant. It allows the production of high quality saddles without the use of adhesives and polyurethanes. Substances known to have a strong environmental impact.
For the production of the saddle was used Flex Control - technology, that is, a special shell composed of two elements with different flexibility, which, compared to products of the same market segment, ensures greater comfort and resistance. The third component is the frame made of Fec Alloy, an iron-carbon steel alloy with high strength and flexibility.

Positivo: buenos materiales; con este sillín se incorpora algunos materiles respuetuosos con el medio ambiente y la huella de carbono; antideslizante; capa antibacteriana; buen apoyo de los isquios en talla 143mm; railes con regla y reforzados, plataforma antivibraciones (no es una pasada pero se nota); precio por lo que ofrece. Negativo: los sillínes son algo bastante personal y hasta que no los pruebas no se pueden sacar conclusiones objetivas y personales. Mi opinión es que es duro para rutas largas y se hace incómodo; el color (gris) puede no gustar; la parte posterior es algo picuda y puede engancharse en algunos pantalones; los laterales están muy expuestos al desgaste y en caso de caida a romperse con facilidad.
Fahre den Sattel seit 2 Jahren und bin zwecks Bequemlichkeit zufrieden. Das Problem ist, dass die meisten großen Satteltaschen nicht montierbar sind aufgrund des sehr kleinen Schlitzes am hinteren Ende des Sattels. Nur Satteltaschen mit dünnen Schlaufen sind montierbar.
