Highlights of the Slide Trail 8.0
To suit its function as a trail bike, we’ve fitted out the Slide with a convenient Rock Shox Revelation suspension, a Charger cartridge, and Deluxe RT3 shock absorbers. Added to that, you’ve got proven DT Swiss M1900 wheels, and Schwalbe’s grippy duo of Magic Mary up front, and Hans Dampf at the rear. If you should ever tire of being a Speed King, Magura’s mighty MT5 four-piston front and rear brake brings you back into the real world. Slide on!
The Slide Trail Family
Are you looking for a comprehensive trailbike? Look no further! The completely new SLIDE TRAIL leaves nothing to be desired – the main frame is made completely of carbon, whereas the rear, including the rocker, is made of aluminium. The frame with its many edges and even surfaces is reminiscent of the sporty appearance of our JAB. It’s not just a racing machine you have here like the other bikes in Radon’s catalogue, but a fun bike for the forest, too. The geometry allows playful handling, so that you needn’t step on the brakes unless you want to chat with your pals.
The Slide Trail Frame
The SLIDE TRAIL frame is a completely new design, and trails are exactly what it loves. The geometry is modern and has been optimised to please you, with flat handlebars and a steep seat angle. Flip chip has been integrated into the back, allowing adjustment of the handlebars and seat angle to suit you. Our SLIDE TRAIL has 29-inch wheels, coupled with 150mm travel in the front and 140mm at the rear, allowing delightful uphill and downhill rides, and turning root-covered surfaces into joyride oases.

Vorab muss ich sagen, ich bin von einem 26er auf dieses 29er Bike umgestiegen und da liegen natürlich Welten dazwischen. Hab das nie für möglich gehalten aber auf dem 26er fühl ich mich jetzt wie ein Affe aufm Schleifstein. Okay egal, zum Bike: Preis / Leistung unschlagbar wenn man sich allein schon ausrechnet was die Teile kosten. Sehr gute und ausgewogene Zusammenstellung des Bikes. Schön leicht und wendig. Für mich dieses Jahr auch eines der schönsten Bikes die in dieser Kategorie rausgekommen sind ! Hatte RADON schon viele Jahre im Auge, habe mich dann jedoch immer wieder für die Konkurenz entschieden. Diesmal wurde mein Nerv jedoch voll getroffen....VIELEN DANK RADON FÜR DIESES GELUNGENDE MEISTERWERK !!!
