Previa registrazione di tutti i propri dati ed invio di copia della fattura della propria bicicletta e di quella di acquisto del presente lucchetto Kryptonite è offerta dalla Casa produttrice una specie di copertura assicurativa fino al valore massimo di 2.700 €. nel caso che il ladro riesca a forzarla o tagliarla. Per questo modello il primo anno è gratuito e per quelli successivi è prevista una spesa minima che si può prendere in considerazione. Anche l'invio per il futuro di copia della chiave è gratuita (previa registrazione separata ad hoc).
