The LEX-SL is equipped with a Slick-Lube liner. Slick-Lube is a lubricant which is worked into the liner over the entire length of the outer shell and noticeably reduces the friction of the inner cable.

Great quality, ordered the carbon silver, match well with Hope braised hose
Gleichzeitig mit den KEB-SL Bremszughüllen gekauft und die LEX-SL-Hüllen sind genau so störrisch in der Verarbeitung wie mangelhaft in der Qualität. Auch bei den LEX-SL-Hüllen wird als äußere Schicht ein extrem harter, widerspenstiger und spröder/brüchiger Kunststoff verwendet. Verfängt sich diese äußere Schicht an einer Kante (etwa in einem Lenker mit Innenverlegung) schält sich das Plastik ruck-zuck ab. Anfangs wollte ich Jagwire zugute halten, dass die Temperatur zum Zeitpunkt der Verabeitung bei nur 4° C lag, aber viel ältere Hüllen oder Hüllen anderer Hersteller in meinem Bestand hatten damit keine Probleme und waren biegsam/elastisch und im Vergleich zu den Jagwire-Hüllen "gutmütig".
