MIPS
MIPS is a sliding plane system within the helmet designed to slow or prevent the amount of energy transferred toward or away from the head.
Float Fit
Bell's most advanced helmet fit system combines comfort and safety in an ultra-lightweight design. Float Fit™ optimizes helmet fit in 2 ways - head circumference and vertical adjustability. To reduce weight and simplify usability, the guide arms uniquely enclose the back of the head thanks to "Float" design. This puts the helmet in an ideal position on the head. Simple, lightweight and comfortable.
Overbrow Ventilation
Deep air intakes above the forehead bring cooling air into the helmet, which is directed around the head through a matrix of air channels for a holistically cool helmet climate.
IN-Mold
With the In-Mold construction, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single operation during the foaming process. The helmet becomes, without additional weight, thereby even more resistant. This production process also makes it possible to form significantly better ventilation systems and vents. In-mold helmets are therefore lighter than traditional helmets and have significantly better ventilation systems.
Roll Cage
The Roll Cage™ is a reinforcement made of extra-impact resistant Nylon® embedded directly into the EPS inner foam of Bell's best helmets. It grants an extra measure of stability and safety.
