The fabrics are made to be directly water repellent and do not need to be coated afterwards. The advantage is that coated swimskins lose their water repellent capabilities faster than those where the hydrophobic properties sit directly in the yarn. The side panels of the PZ4TX swimskin also have compressive properties that can positively affect your swimming style and performance. So if it's too warm for a wetsuit, the PZ4TX is a really good choice for your competition!
