The tights’ main textile is OSMOS Light, the lowest-volume material in Assos' fleece-backed OSMOS family. The brushed interior is lightly insulating, breathable, and super soft against our skin. The warpknit outer acts as the “shell” of the tights, further supporting your leg muscles with its compressive structure. Together, these two components of the textile create a nice compressive hold on our legs, encouraging positive circulation and uniform warmth throughout. Knowing that the wind-facing front panel takes the brunt of the elements, we overlapped a second layer of OSMOS Medium, as this patented twinDeck construction locks out the cold air, while still remaining breathable.
Constructed using the S9 raceFit platform, the tights employ the A-Lock Engineering framework for maximum stability and to secure the insert in place as you pedal. The rollBar bib straps and ergoBox join forces as your weight transfers in the saddle, ensuring frictionless comfort and stability during high-output efforts.

- RollBar: ASSOS' unique, patented design, in which ASSOS is based on the stabiliser of a racing car. The carriers act as stabilisers while you shift your weight from left to right when cornering
- ErgoBox: A square fabric panel that effectively frames the insert on the back for added stability
- Butterfly Pattern: The biggest part of the fabric caresses the lower back and the legs and runs together at the back. The small number of seams promises a more uniform hold, less weight and improved comfort
- Carbon Xbib: A single batch of elastic material that has been folded down to form a strong A-shaped frame and offers limited vertical stretch at the back. Above the "X" junction, a more flexible material was used that features an antibacterial carbon fabric that wicks away moisture and lies flat on the front

Equipe RS
The insert of the S9 generation combines expertise, engineering skills, high-quality materials and perfect workmanship. The centre is made of superAir SuperAir microShock foam, a lightweight open cell foam with a shock absorbing composition that returns to its original position, filling the gap every time pedaling position is changed in the saddle through the shift of weight, supported by 3D waffle, a patented, three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight. The patented goldenGate technology interrupts the stitching along both of the insert’s side panels, allowing a more three-dimensional freedom of movement in this sensitive, rotational area. The horizontal stabilizer, a patented central stitch that secures the rear of the insert to the outer textile, eliminates shifting while pedaling. Mod.Dep S9 Basalt, a antibacterial microfiber booster top sheet, gives the seat pad its color.
