The Frame Save System consists of a replaceable derailleur hanger with thread in the hanger. The cross-ovalized down tube is manufactured using Advanced Mechanical forming process, designed for high durability. The Aluminum Lite 6061 frame is especially designed for use with disc brakes. The 29er RFR geometry delivers a comfortable yet sporty seating position due to the shorter top tube. Outstanding components include the Shimano 3x10 transmission with Shimano SLX rear derailleur. Quality components like the Easton EA30 oversized stem and handlebar and the Easton EA30 seatpost build a rounded package. The damping of the 100mm Rock Shox XC28 suspension fork with PopLoc is adjustable. More quality features are the Shimano BR-M395 disc brakes for reliable stopping power and the wheelset with Shimano Centerlock hubs, DT Swiss spokes and RFR ZX24 rims fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam 2.25 comfort tires.
